Aww :(

I enjoyed this little story quite a bit!! OK, well, I say "enjoy" because I thought it was really well-written and the art was lovely and I really enjoyed Alex as a character -- but it also made me quite morose ahhhh... so perhaps "enjoy" isn't the right word in the end LOL BUT I DIGRESS. This was an incredibly lovely and well-done look into a relationship coming to an end. I enjoyed the glimpses we got of Alex's and Sophie's relationship through Alex's video ramblings -- I could imagine so many of them in my mind and resonated a lot with those feelings of kinda... nostalgia mixed with happiness mixed with sadness. Because those memories ARE happy. And they DO mean a lot. Which just makes the conflict and pain even worse. Because you're grateful for them but will miss them so much it makes your heart hurt.

I could tell as it went on also that Alex... kinda knew this was something that would happen eventually anything. That even if they weren't moving, that Sophie was... drifting away from them a bit. And so a part of them realizes that this move might be better for both of them anyway? But that they hope they can still keep in touch as friends even if not as partners. (I hope they can also keep in touch, too... I really love the idea of past partners still being able to care for each other and be friends, even though I know it's sometimes hard for this happen because of all the intense emotions going on behind things.)

I think perhaps my favorite part of this was the art?? I LOVE IT SO MUCH??? There is something so sweet and soft about your style, both in Alex's sprite, as well as the beautifully done BG. I loved the detailed of Alex's room!! The photos, the stuff on the shelves, the little glimpses of things that are important to Alex and give us more insight into who they are, like the guitar and the plants and the cute little animals on the top shelf. And of course the lesbian flag -- which means even more after hearing about Alex talk about how Sophie helped them figure themselves out and come out. It's just such a lovely space and I kinda want to get lost in it for a while alskdjalfsk

ANYWAY. This was really beautiful, and a really poignant look at how first loves can leave impressions on us and how sometimes things just don't work out, for better or for worse, but that things can keep going and not everything needs to "end" -- that they can just change. A lovely job overall!!

AWWW, THANK YOU SO MUCH <333 Im so glad you enjoyed playing it as much as we enjoyed doing it! It was such a fun and cute game to do :3
